Dr. Orozco operates at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, located at 65 W Jimmie Leeds Road, Pomona, New Jersey and the AtlantiCare Center for Orthopaedic Surgery located at 2500 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Orozco Orthopaedics takes most major insurance plans, however it is best to call and confirm that we take your particular insurance carrier. We can advise you if we are in-network or out of network.
We generally accept: Medicare, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Braven, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford Cigna, Tricare, Wellcare, Emblem, GHI, NY Empire, and Clover insurances.
Dr. Orozco recommends lifetime pre-medications for all dirty procedures including dental, colonoscopies, and ingrown toe nail treatment. We will prescribe you oral antibiotics to take one hour prior to your appointments. You do not need to pre-medicate for biopsies, pap smears, tattoos, piercings, eye surgeries, lab work, or other procedures. If you are having a another major surgery such as another joint replacement or abdominal surgery, you will be given IV antibiotics that will protect you and do not need to take additional oral antibiotics.
